Christianity (as well as other religious traditions; sorry to focus to what I know (fully?)) is an ambigious thing, you know nothing more than that which you believe as an individual and the creeds that you have been born into (Anglican/Catholic etc).

A discussion either way on homosexuality (and other issues) is easy. Easy, and confusing to the point where you cannot come to a definitive conclusion. What is true is one thing. Do you believe in the compasion of secular society (with a religious basis for ethics?) or the strength of religious scripture?

How can scripture defend descrimination?

Among Christ's foremost teachings was to love your neighbor, not to tell him that his lifestyle was abhorrent and that cartoon characters shouldn't promote acceptance of said abhorrent lifestyle.
